Knoxville Museum of Art: Richard Jolley GlassFest

Knoxville Museum of Art Print Design Examples

The Knoxville Museum found 2014 to be a year of renewal and celebration with a $6 million renovation, a new brand identity and the unveiling of a permanent installation of international impact. World-renown glass artist Richard Jolley's Cycle of Life: Within the Power of Dreams and the Wonder of Infinity is one of the largest figurative glass-and-steel assemblages in the world, so the eyes of the art world were on Knoxville and the KMA's new installation.

The KMA came to us to create print materials to accompany the multi-day celebration of the unveiling of the installation.

We proposed the celebration had the potential to become a recurring event for the KMA, who enthusiastically adopted our suggestion of GlassFest. After developing the logo and identity for GlassFest, we integrated the logo and other assets into print pieces promoting and enriching the festival events. We created promotional mailers, invitations and event programs.
